Every once in a while I’ll get stuck, I cannot come up with good ideas on what to write in my next blog post. I bet that you also get those temporary seizures of writers block, from time to time. However, I have come up with a cure, that works very well for me; Google Trends.
Actually I got the idea from a friend of mine, that works with trading stocks, that told me that I should always consider the trend, as my friend. Then out of the blue, I remembered that I have seen that Google had a tool that name and I went to explore it. I quickly realized that this was the perfect tool for me, as a blogger with writers block.
Google Trends is a fantastic tool from the genius, that works at Google, that will show you the surfers interest in your favorite niche, together with the latest news results. However, there is also a section that shows you the hottest trends, today. This section is updated hourly and gives you exactly what the worlds surfer are looking for at the moment! Could you ask for anything else, to awake your creativity, than a snapshot of the 100 hottest subjects, on the net?
There is only your imagination that sets the boundaries, to what you could do with this magnificent tool. For example, you can use it to cure your writers block and find which subjects that your readers are interested in, right now. You’ll also learn which subjects that is more likely to get you some fresh traffic from the search engines, which equals new readers to your blog. As said, there is numerous ways of how Google Trends could help your blog, which is totally free to use, by the way.
So, by making it a daily routine, to visit Google Trends, you’ll never run out of new ideas for your next blog post. Plus, chances are that you’ll get some fresh readers too, as a nice bonus!
